We developed different offers to satisfy your needs depending on whether you simply want to learn French or want to discover cultural aspects of the life in the South-West of France and visit local places.

INTENSIVE COURSE

EXAMPLE

5 days for 2 people: 15 hours

  • 15h of French (5 x 3h in the morning) 

  • a confortable classroom

  • a flexible schedule

Booking

1 or 2 A WEEK

​

  • This option offers general French. The teacher will provide you the necessary handout for your learning. This way, you do not have to buy extra books.

 

  • You can rely on your teacher’s flexibility about the courses content. Depending on your level, the lesson can be oriented on speaking in order to broach current affairs or hobby related topics.

​​​​

  • This formula is also perfect for you if you want to revise for an exam (DELF, TEF, etc.) since our teachers are certified examiners.

​

INTENSIVE COURSE

  • The INTENSIVE COURSE formula includes the same content as the previous option, but at a higher frequency.                                                                                           

  • This formula is ideal if you want to learn French and to remain independent to discover various areas.                                                                                                                     

  • It offers you the possibility to enjoy cultural excursions with your teacher and the school car as stated in the information enclosed in the DISCOVERY AND EXCURSIONS.

DISCOVERY AND EXCURSIONS

  • This option guaranties the availability of a teacher outside the classroom.                                                                                    

  • It combines morning tailor-made classes and pedagogical visits in the afternoon. The teacher will take you (by car or on foot) to the remarkable places of the Lot region in order to learn French differently and pedagogical activities will be offered to you according to your personal interests.

Examples of possible activities :

​

  • Meeting of the local producers on the local markets.

  • Visit of medieval towns such as Rocamadour, St-Cirq Lapopie and Puy l'Evèque.

  • Discovery of the Cahors vineyards and its specificities.

  • Explorating and analysing of the Lot landscape through its heritage and architecture.

  • Theme-based modules about French culture and local tourism to satisfy your curiosity.

  • Conversation classes on current affairs, art, sport, literature.

With attention to confort, visits to Rocamadour and St-Cirq Lapopie are available with your teacher between 01/10 and 01/06 only. 

 

During high season, the school will present you hidden gems that will satisfy your curiosity.

This DISCOVERY formula is advantagous for many reasons :​

  • It is the best way to discover Cahors and its hidden treasures.

  • You will benefit from a wide flexibility in organising your schedule.

  • No need to worry about renting a car or driving in France during your holidays.

  • You can enjoy learning French while discovering the beauties of the region and learn about History.

  • The meal is not included. You can decide to go to a restaurant or to buy/prepare a sandwich.

​

  • Extra services will be at your own cost (such as visit of a cave, service of a professionnal guide on site...)

​

  • The school reserves right to change the day of the excursion due to weather conditions.​​
